Job Summary
Dental Assistant Program Director role overseeing the online educational experience, ensuring high-quality instruction, program effectiveness, and alignment with accreditation requirements. Responsibilities include hiring/supervising faculty, ensuring credentialing standards (CHCP/ABHES/TWC), directing advisory committees, collaborating with Instructional Design on curriculum, monitoring LMS instructional behaviors, reporting student outcomes, promoting the program, developing new courses, planning on-site laboratory sessions at CHCP campuses, and coordinating program evaluation and compliance activities with accrediting bodies. Requires an Associate’s degree, CDA/RDA or licensed dentist credentials, and travel up to 25% in Texas; role is based at the corporate office with an emphasis on online instruction and professional development of faculty.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required
- Nationally Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (CDA or RDA) or a licensed dentist
- Must meet ABHES Chapter VIII and TWC requirements to be an approved instructor and Program Director
