Job Summary
The Dental Assistant (DA) works closely with dentists in the provision of excellent patient care, assisting and anticipating the needs related to instruments and supplies during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing for dental surgical cases, cleaning instruments and surgical rooms, monitoring inventory, and assisting with patient transfers. The role requires knowledge of dental procedures and the ability to provide age-appropriate care for pediatric patients. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program
- Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant
- One year of RDA experience
- Current BLS Certificate
- Background and Drug Screening
