Job Summary
Assist the orthodontist and hygienist with patient care, including cheek retraction, note-taking, and welcoming/dismissing patients while explaining procedures. Perform intraoral and extraoral photography, manage digital image uploads, and handle iTero scans and alginate impressions. Prepare orthodontic materials such as mixing alginate and Invisalign trays, maintain sterilization records, and manage inventory using the TAG system. Clean Statim and Tuttnauer equipment weekly or bi-weekly and complete opening and closing duties. Work full-time Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break, earning $25–30 based on experience and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Level II Dental Assistant
- Have Dental Assistant Diploma
- Have HARP certification
- Willing to train Dental assistant in Ortho procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Asset if have Ortho experience otherwise open to training
