Job Summary
Assist faculty providers, dental students, and residents in the clinic and operating room across pediatrics, adult dentistry, and oral surgery programs. Provide direct support for medically fragile and special needs patients while utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Maintain radiological proficiency certification and complete required BLS training during onboarding. Work under direct supervision within the School of Dentistry's Hospital Dental Services.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program
- One year of experience as a chair side Dental Assistant
- Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency
- BLS from AHA
- Must have worked as a dental assistant within the last 5 years
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
