Job Summary
Prepare instruments and patients for surgery, assist with intubation and implant procedures, and manage operation room setup and teardown. Take impressions, pour molds, capture patient photos, and perform X-rays and cone beams. Set up appointments, place implant supplies, adjust prosthesis, and deliver pre- and post-op instructions. Sterilize equipment, clean daily, and manage patient expectations while meeting lab deadlines for prosthetics within 24 hours. Complete surgery reports, review patient charts, and solve daily equipment or patient delay obstacles to maintain top-tier service.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant with all the proper certifications
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Self Starter who works well as as a part of a team
- Patient-centric with good communication skills
- Outgoing and empathetic
- Flexible and a quick learner
- Great organizational skills and high level of office aptitude
