Job Summary
Prepare instruments and patients for surgery, assist the surgeon and CRNA with intubation, and manage operation room setup and teardown. Take impressions, pour molds, capture patient photos, and perform X-rays and cone beam imaging. Set up appointments in the scheduling platform, place implant supply orders, and adjust prosthesis. Deliver pre and post-op instructions while managing patient expectations. Sterilize equipment, perform daily cleaning, and handle lab requests to meet prosthetic deadlines within 24 hours. Complete surgery reports and review patient charts to plan the next day's procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant with all the proper certifications
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Self Starter who works well as a part of a team
- Patient-centric with good communication skills
- Outgoing and empathetic
- Flexible and a quick learner
- Great organizational skills and high level of office aptitude
