Job Summary
Greet patients, manage treatment room setup, and escort individuals through the clinic while maintaining accurate health history records and charts. Perform clinical procedures as directed, mix materials, and answer patient questions thoroughly before and after appointments. Oversee sterilization protocols, disinfect instruments per OSHA regulations, and monitor equipment maintenance schedules. Take X-rays, send laboratory cases, and notify the Treatment Coordinator for evening call-ins when needed. Maintain emergency kits and oxygen tanks while ensuring proper documentation of all services rendered.
Required Qualifications
- X-Ray License
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- High school diploma
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
