Job Summary
Dental Assistant needed to support dentists during a variety of treatments, including taking and developing radiographs, impressions, or models. On-site role in a fast-paced dental practice in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities include instrument sterilization and preparation, patient preoperative and postoperative care instructions, managing patient treatment records, infection control, coordinating with administrative staff to schedule appointments and manage inventory, and participating in ongoing education to update knowledge of dental procedures and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant; certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Adept at using computers and dental practice management software.
- High school diploma; higher degree in dental assistance or certification is a considerable advantage.
