Job Summary
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control and safety standards. Take digital dental X-rays and assist with advanced imaging technologies when needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management system. Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions. Support a positive patient experience by communicating effectively and collaborating with the clinical team. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay ranging from $22 to $32.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of prior hands-on dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of Dentrix software
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal Certifications: Coronal Polishing and Radiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
