Job Summary
Deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education. Record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete. Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements. Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards. Assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 5pm, with Wednesdays until 7pm and alternating Fridays until 1pm.
Required Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification
- Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific)
- Current CPR certification
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education
- Monday: 7:45am-5pm
- Tuesday: 7:45am-5pm
- Wednesday: 7:45am-7pm
- Thursday: 7:45am-5pm
- Every other Friday: 7:45am-1pm
