Job Summary
Assist the dentist during patient treatments, prepare patients, and take or develop x-rays along with diagnostic impressions. Perform instrument sterilization, infection control, and operatory cleaning while maintaining inventory of clinical supplies and laboratory cases. Make clinical notes regarding patient treatment, update health histories, and collect consent forms. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with no nights, weekends, or on-call hours. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to improving community health across 28 centers in Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft 360
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Dental experience
- CPR and first aid
- X-ray certified
- experience with autoclave, suction, hand pieces, panorex, amalgamator, ultrasonic, air compressor, amalgam separator, vacuum pump, and hydrim
- experience with basic dental software programs, digital impression scanning and practice management platforms such as NexHealth and OverJet
