Job Summary
Assist the dentist with patient preparation and treatment, including taking and developing x-rays, diagnostic impressions, and making clinical notes. Maintain infection control protocols by performing instrument sterilization, cleaning and stocking operatories, and managing inventory for both clinical supplies and laboratory cases. Educate patients and ensure compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA safety requirements while managing multiple priorities under pressure. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with no nights, weekends, or on-call hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft 360
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years Dental experience
- CPR and first aid
- X-ray certified
- experience with autoclave, suction, hand pieces, panorex, amalgamator, ultrasonic, air compressor, amalgam separator, vacuum pump, and hydrim
- experience with basic dental software programs, digital impression scanning and practice management platforms such as NexHealth and OverJet
