Job Summary
Assist the dentist in clinical patient treatment while ensuring high levels of attentiveness, understanding, and care. Maintain treatment room cleanliness and sterilization per OSHA regulations, securely store patient records in compliance with HIPAA and state laws, and monitor dental laboratory cases. Keep rooms stocked, answer phones, unpack supplies, and complete insurance forms as needed. Perform expanded functions and other assigned tasks. Monday through Thursday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant
- Graduate of accredited dental assisting program
- A minimum of 2 years, out of school experience in a clinical setting
- State certification to practice Dental Assistance
- Compliance with state dental practice requirements (e.g., x-ray requirements, OSHA training)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff
- Leading with compassion and a commitment to the full patient care experience
Desired Qualifications
- Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix knowledge
