Job Summary
Assist dentists chairside during dental procedures, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, and support sterilisation and reprocessing in line with infection prevention standards. Welcome and support patients throughout their visit while maintaining clean, organised clinical areas. The all-rounder role includes patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and phone enquiries alongside clinical duties. One position offers consistent weekday hours with school holidays off, while the other provides flexible casual hours with growth potential toward full-time. Required Qualifications
- A genuine interest in building a career in the dental industry
- Some experience or knowledge of infection prevention and control (healthcare, dental or similar)
- A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
- Strong reliability, attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Up-to-date immunisations, or willingness to obtain them
- All-rounder role: comfortable juggling reception duties alongside clinical work
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dental or healthcare experience
- Interest in completing a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (traineeship)
- Confidence working as part of a close-knit, fast-paced team
- Reception or customer service experience (all-rounder role)
