Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner. Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before procedures, take diagnostic-digital imaging as prescribed, and maintain meticulous records on patient charts. Aid the dentist in the safe and efficient execution of procedures while setting up and breaking down rooms according to infection control protocols. Communicate patient and equipment needs with co-workers, adhering to OSHA guidelines, HIPAA Privacy Policy, and clinical operating procedures. Present to work during scheduled shifts and practice within the legal scope of assistant duties.
Required Qualifications
- MA DA License required
- Present to work during scheduled shifts
- Must be able to lift <15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification preferred
- Eaglesoft experience strongly preferred
- Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification preferred
