Job Summary
Provide chairside assistance to dentists, take x-rays, and stock, organize, and disinfect operatories while ensuring strict infection control protocols. Review daily schedules, prepare for appointments with necessary supplies and lab cases, input treatment plans, and escort patients to the front desk for check-out. Collaborate with hygienists and administrative staff to maintain scheduling lists and track lab work. Requires x-ray certification, BLS certification, and one year of dental experience. Full-time role with 401(k) profit sharing, health insurance, and paid time off for those working 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year or more of dental experience
- X-ray certification
- BLS certification

- State Board requirements

- ability to communicate effectively with doctors, employees, and patients
- ability to assist in lifting patients into the operatory chair from a wheelchair

- ability to make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
- ability to use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
- ability to understand the speech of another person
- ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand
- ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
