Job Summary
Greet patients, monitor arrival times, and escort them to treatment rooms while obtaining and reviewing health histories. Set up treatment rooms, mix dental materials, and perform clinical procedures as directed by the dentist. Take and develop dental radiographs, administer fluoride treatments, and apply sealants. Assist with chairside procedures, including behavior management for children, and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records, manage inventory, and ensure sterilization protocols are followed. Monitor patient flow and coordinate laboratory cases. Work Mon-Thurs from 8 AM to 4 PM in a part-time or full-time capacity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state-specific dental assisting certification
- Bilingual proficiency
- Familiarity with Epic Wisdom dental software and electronic health records (EHR)
- E-Verify employment eligibility verification
