Job Summary
Dental Assistant supports the dentist and dental hygienist with chairside care, prepares operatory and rooms, handles radiographs, sterilization, infection-control tasks, and inventory. Responsible for patient history documentation, maintaining HIPAA/ confidentiality, following OSHA/CDC/ADA standards, attending staff meetings, ensuring safe operation of dental equipment, and performing delegated tasks per state regulations. Requires knowledge of dental assisting techniques and ability to set up dental equipment per guidelines; CDA within 6 months is preferred.
