Dental Assistant

Job Summary
Set up and break down rooms, prepare patients for treatment, and assist the dentist chair-side during procedures. Take radiographs, panoramic x-rays, digital scans, and 3D images as prescribed, while sterilizing instruments and maintaining equipment logs. Manage lab cases, enter patient records into practice management software, and provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene guidance. Make positive first impressions with patients by phone or in person, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure all health and financial information remains strictly confidential per HIPAA standards. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, with some Fridays, under the direction of the dentist and Operations Leader.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- License / training as required by their state/county/local licensing agency
- X-ray certification as defined by their state / county/local licensing agency
- Current state / county / local Dental Assisting License as defined by licensing agency
- Current x-ray certification / license as defined by licensing agency
- Monday-Thursday 7:30-5
- Some Fridays
