Job Summary
Welcome patients to the treatment room, assist the doctor in providing care, and develop strong relationships with patients. Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs while actively monitoring lab materials and supplies. Clean and sterilize instruments, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain a safe, secure environment by following all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Stay knowledgeable of emerging technologies and clinical initiatives impacting the back-office experience. Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience working as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred
