Job Summary
Dental Assistant II position at Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington. The role includes chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple procedures, patient flow support, scheduling/charting/vitals, infection control and OSHA compliance, inventory and equipment maintenance, insurance verification and treatment planning, and participation in quality improvement and staff training. Requires completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or at least 18 months of dental assisting experience, Washington DOH Dental Assistant Registration, and BLS CPR within 90 days of hire with TB testing annually. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; competency testing with an 80%+ score is required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of formal Dental Assistant program or 18+ months dental assisting experience
- Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required
- BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire; TB testing annually
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must pass DAII competency test/practical with 80% or higher
