Job Summary
Dental Assistant II in Seattle, WA clinic provides chair-side assistance with four-handed dentistry across Diagnostic, Preventative, Restorative, Endodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontic, and Orthodontics; obtains vital signs, assists with treatment plans and cost estimates, completes insurance pre-authorizations and eligibility checks, and may help train new staff. Requires a formal Dental Assistant program, WA DOH registration, and BLS CPR within 90 days; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and retirement options. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Formal Dental Assistant program from College/Technical Institute or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of work experience (or 18 months if no formal training)
- Registered with the Washington State Department of Health
- BLS CPR within 90 days of hire and maintained
- TB testing annually
- Washington Dental Registration current
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
