Job Summary
Prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and assist chairside in dental and oral surgery clinics under supervision while maintaining strict infection control standards. Provide lab and radiology support including impressions and dental imaging, and manage clerical tasks such as scheduling, records management, and billing. Deliver strong communication and customer service to patients of all ages. Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm with flexibility required. Comprehensive first-day health coverage, 32 days of PTO, and tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually. ChristianaCare Hospital Dentistry Clinic has served the community for over 60 years.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of accredited Dental Assistant program
- Dental Radiology Technicians certified by the Delaware Office of Radiation Control
- One-year previous work-related experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental techniques, instruments, materials, and radiologic procedures
- Proficiency in sterilization and infection control
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Skill in four-handed dentistry
