Job Summary
On-call Dental Assistant I at Sea Mar’s Des Moines Dental Clinic assisting providers in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery procedures and other duties allowed by WA Dental Practice Act. Greet, seat and depart patients; provide patient education before/during/after procedures; schedule and register patients in Dentrix and Allscripts PM; perform thorough charting in Dentrix using SOAP or PARTS; obtain vital signs; maintain proper sterilization methods and OSHA compliance in all clinic areas. Requires valid WA Dental Assistant license and BLS; dental assisting education or experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- valid Washington State Dental Assistant license
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Dental assisting education or experience
- Familiarity with the utilization of computers
- Excellent customer service skills
