Job Summary
On-call Dental Assistant I–III at Sea Mar's Vancouver East Dental Clinic. Assist the dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery procedures and other duties allowed by the WA Dental Practice Act. Maintain MSDS records, conduct spore tests, and manage dental-supply inventory; assist in training new Dental Assistants and organize schedules to generate checklists for dental procedure maintenance. Bilingual in Spanish or Russian is highly preferred. Must hold WA State license and BLS certification; strong English reading/writing ability; familiarity with dental records and computer usage. II level requires completion of a formal Dental Assistant program (minimum 6 months experience; or 18 months for those without formal training); III level requires more advanced duties including sterilization, radiographs, temporary restorations, impressions, model pouring, and OSHA/QI knowledge; 2 years of experience (3 years for non-formal training).
