Dental Assistant I

Job Summary
Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists by charting, managing operatory setup and cleanup, and educating patients. Assist in restorative dentistry by preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, maintaining asepsis, and following OSHA guidelines. Expose and develop diagnostic radiographs while reviewing patient health history and completing software entries under direction. Follow HIPAA compliance and safety regulations including CPR certification. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Required Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
- Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
- CPR Certification required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
