Job Summary
Join our dental practice as a Dental Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting the dental team, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, supporting dentists during procedures, performing basic procedures under supervision, and managing appointments and patient records. Requires ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and communication skills, and readiness to learn. State-specific X-ray certification/training is required where listed; CPR/EFDA and other state certifications may be required in certain jurisdictions. Required Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education preferred
- Certification and formal training to expose X-rays (state-specific requirements listed per state)
- CPR Certification (where required)
- EFDA certification where required
- BORID/CE requirements where applicable
- TSBDE or state board certification as applicable
- Proficiency in dental software and technology a plus
