Job Summary
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or DA at Gold Coast Dental, a private, family-owned multi-practice; full-time role in Glendale, CA. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, preparing for treatments, setting up instruments and materials, sterilizing instruments per regulations, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, maintaining a clean treatment room, keeping patient records, and assisting with payment procedures. Required Qualifications
- Responsibilities: Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g., OSMA/OA)
- Spanish Speaker huge plus
