Job Summary
Surgical Dental Assistant for a busy Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Brooklyn. Responsibilities include assisting surgeon during surgery, preparing rooms and instruments, taking vital signs, patient advocacy, patient transfer, discharge instructions, maintaining sterile setup, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA. Requirements include friendly team player, strong communication, punctuality, CPR preferred, bilingual a plus, proficiency in Word/Excel, English fluency.

- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be punctual, professional, and a team player
- Must be respectful to doctors and co-workers, patients and families from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds
- Must be willing and able to learn new skills
- Valid CPR certification preferred
- Knowledgeable of Word and Excel preferred
