Job Summary
Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the doctor's schedule and patient flow while assisting with all dental procedures. Review patient charts prior to arrival, log data during exams and treatments, transcribe notes, and verify health histories. Discuss diagnosed treatments with patients, address their questions, and promote company services while educating them on dental health. Maintain sufficient inventory by ordering clinical supplies. This role requires current CDA certification, chairside skills, and x-ray/CPR certifications. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
- Current CDA certification
- Receiving and preparing patients for dental treatment
- Assisting chairside
- Taking x-rays
- Making temporary crowns and pouring/trimming impressions
- Make custom bleaching trays
- Current x-ray certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current nitrous certification
- Ability to obtain x-ray certification upon hire
- Ability to obtain CPR certification upon hire
- Ability to obtain nitrous certification upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to work in a professional environment with direct patient contact
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Greeting patients with a smile as welcomed guests to the practice
- Basic knowledge of dentistry
- Ability to educate patients regarding their dental health
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years expanded dental assisting experience
- Experience in general dentistry
