Job Summary
Welcome and escort patients from reception to treatment areas, ensuring rooms are stocked and re-ordering inventory as needed. Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs, document all procedures per legal requirements, and develop diagnostic x-rays. Assist the dentist by sterilizing instruments, setting up trays, preparing materials, and fabricating temporary restorations. Provide dental education on oral hygiene and nutritional strategies, while notifying the Office Manager of equipment or safety concerns. Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and regular office meetings. Work full shifts of 8–10 hours, Monday through Saturday, 30–40 hours per week. No certification required; on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer/patient service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in fast paced, patient-focused environment
- Detail oriented
- Able to carry out written and verbal instructions
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate

- available to work Saturdays, when needed
- Full shifts (8-10 hours)
