Job Summary
Experienced Dental Assistant sought by Big Sky Smiles and Sedation in Missoula, MT to support chairside duties across restorative, cosmetic, and sedation procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms, take and develop digital X-rays, monitor sedation protocols, document patient histories and notes in dental software, educate patients on post-treatment care, and coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience
- Dental radiography certification (X-ray certified) required or ability to obtain
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar)
- Strong chairside manner with the ability to put anxious patients at ease
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with sedation dentistry procedures is a strong plus
