Job Summary
Direct patient care and expanded functions including dental radiographs, tray setup, chairside assistance, and temporary crown fabrication. Manage operatory flow by directing team direction, training staff on patient handoffs, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Aspen safety protocols. Perform daily sterilization, waterline maintenance, and emergency kit checks while ordering supplies within budget. Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies and assist with clear aligner processes and intraoral health scans. Requires current Dental Assistant license, radiology certification, and 2+ years of experience. Full-time role at Aspen Dental with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state
- Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state
- Current CPR or BLS certificate
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry
- Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques
- Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state
- State Certification in expanded functions as required by state
