Job Summary
Assist doctors with treatment procedures, maintain patient flow, and manage operatory rooms while ensuring strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Aspen safety standards. Perform expanded functions including taking radiographs, completing denture soft relines, manufacturing temporary crowns, and providing intraoral health scans. Educate patients on oral hygiene, support charting, and maintain emergency kits and supplies within the practice budget. This role requires a current Dental Assistant license, radiology certification, and CPR/BLS training, with a preference for two years of chairside experience. Required Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state
- Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state
- Current CPR or BLS certificate
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry
- Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques
- Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state
- State Certification in expanded functions as required by state
