Job Summary
Assist doctors during treatment procedures, maintain productive patient flow, and perform expanded functions including taking radiographs, completing denture soft relines, and manufacturing temporary crowns. Breakdown operatory rooms, manage sterilization processes, and monitor waterline and autoclave maintenance schedules. Support patient charting, educate patients on oral hygiene, and perform intraoral health scans and impressions. Train staff on patient handoffs and infection control techniques while ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Manage laboratory cases, order supplies within budget, and maintain emergency kits. Full-time role with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state
- Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state
- Current CPR or BLS certificate
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry
- Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques
- Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state
- State Certification in expanded functions as required by state
