Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures while ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintain patient comfort, and take dental X-rays and digital images as required. Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards, update patient charts, and provide education on oral hygiene. Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks while collaborating with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines, and establish strong patient relationships through ethical professional behavior. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30am to 5:00pm, with one to two Saturdays per month from 7:45am to 2:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
