Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures while welcoming and educating patients on oral hygiene. Take and develop X-rays, maintain study models, and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Maintain accurate patient records, manage dental emergencies with CPR certification, and support the clinical team in providing excellent community dental care. Full-time schedule includes Monday through Friday with rotating hours; benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and continuing education support.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Required
- X-Ray certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law
Desired Qualifications
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
