Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures while welcoming, comforting, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, maintain study models, and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and scheduling, and help manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies. Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law. Join a team dedicated to providing excellent dental care in the community.
Required Qualifications
- prior dental assisting experience
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
- X-Ray certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
