Job Summary
Review daily patient charts to verify documentation and scheduled work completion. Pack and ship lab cases daily, checking daily for missing items to reschedule patients promptly. Maintain a safe environment by cleaning and sterilizing instruments, ensuring clinical areas are sanitized, and turning off equipment nightly. Assist dentists with procedures, communicate with patients, and manage inventory while adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and dental board regulations. Fill in for back-office staff when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Standards
- Valid California Registered Dental Assistant license
- Current Radiographic Certification
- CPR certification
- Infection Control certification
- Means to travel from one office to another
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and use of dental terminology
- Certification from an accredited Dental Assisting program
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
- 1 year of Dental Views experience
