Job Summary
Dental Assistant needed for busy practice in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, preparing for treatments, instrument setup, sterilization, assisting the dentist in 4-handed dentistry, performing lab tasks, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and assisting with emergencies. Qualifications: proven dental assistant experience, knowledge of instruments and sterilization methods, health and safety regulations, ability to perform coronal polishing (a plus), strong computer skills, excellent communication and attention to detail, well-organized and reliable, high school diploma, dental assistant school preferred, and dental x-ray certification. Compensation: $20-$27 per hour, Flexible scheduling with Full-Time or Part-Time options; benefits include PTO, 401(k) with company match, CE allowance, and a modern digital-office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus

- Strong attention to detail
- Must be well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma
- Graduate of a dental assistant school is preferred
- Dental x-ray certification
