Job Summary
Prepare patients for dental work, help with infection control by sterilizing instruments and setting up trays, and assist dentists and hygienists with procedures. Expose dental x-rays, record treatment information and patient vital signs, and provide postoperative instructions. Form preliminary impressions, order supplies, and maintain equipment inventory. Give patients information on dental hygiene and plaque control programs. Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments
- Experience using digital technology and electronic medical records
- Willingness and ability to participate in training, which may include travel
- Willing to build trust with others
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cerec, and intraoral scanning a plus
- Experience with sedation and dental implant placement and restoration a plus
