Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant position supporting dentists across dental specialties by preparing patients, assisting during procedures, taking and exposing dental X-rays, maintaining equipment and patient records, and contributing to infection control, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing patients and treatment areas, managing patient flow, setting up trays and materials, assisting dentists during procedures, taking radiographs, caring for x-ray sensors, documenting medical and dental histories, recording treatment in patient management software, and performing administrative tasks such as inventory management and training of interns. Additional duties may include sterilization, maintaining clinical guides and safety binders, and potential relocation to other Dental Depot clinics as needed. Required qualifications include completion of a dental assisting program or one year of experience, current Dental Assisting Permit, CPR certification, and X-ray certification. Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Microsoft Office, plus a valid driver's license and insurance if operating company vehicles.
