Dental Assistant

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures while welcoming, comforting, and educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake. Help manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, managing emergency drug and oxygen supplies, and utilizing the emergency telephone directory. Requires prior dental assisting experience, X-Ray certification, and Nitrous Oxide certification.
