Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including scheduling and intake. Help manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Part-time Wednesday and Thursday hours. Competitive hourly pay $23 minimum to $28 maximum. Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability benefits, and 401(k) plan. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- 1 year on-the-job-experience
- X-Ray certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
