Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures while welcoming and educating patients on oral hygiene. Take and develop X-rays, maintain study models, and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Maintain accurate patient records, manage dental and medical emergencies using CPR certification and emergency supplies, and follow workplace regulations. Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $27.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- 1 year on-the-job-experience
- X-Ray certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior dental assisting experience
- CPR certification
- annual OSHA training
- HIPAA training
- infection control training
