Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures while welcoming and educating patients on oral hygiene. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, scheduling, and intake. Help manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, managing emergency drug and oxygen supply, and utilizing the emergency telephone directory. This role requires prior dental assisting experience, X-Ray certification, and Nitrous Oxide certification.
