Dental Assistant - Decatur

Assist the Dentist in chair-side examinations and treatments while scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments as needed. Maintain the Electronic Digital Record by entering diagnoses, treatment plans, allergies, prescriptions, and consent signatures before patient dismissal. Order dental supplies and drugs, ensuring stock levels remain adequate, and keep operatories clean and efficient. Take and develop x-rays, monitor vital signs, and communicate tactfully with patients and staff. Notify the Dentist immediately upon leaving the clinic or chair side. Train students in dental assisting when assigned to the clinic.
