Job Summary
Experienced Dental Assistant sought to join a modern dental practice. Responsibilities include performing dentistry procedures, taking and processing x-rays, teeth whitening, enforcing clinical infection control procedures, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, tray setup and material preparation. Must have knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, and Dentrix software. Strong communication, organization, and patient-relations skills required; candidates should demonstrate reliability and a positive team attitude. Benefits include dental insurance, sick/vacation pay, and growth opportunities. Schedule is Monday to Thursday, full-time, in-person in Sonora, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations(OSHA & HIPAA)
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing & temp crowns
- Good Dentrix computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Ability to Inspire, Smile & Laugh
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
