Job Summary
Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists by charting, managing operatory setup, and educating patients. Assist with restorative dentistry, sterilize instruments, maintain asepsis, and prepare materials while following OSHA guidelines. Expose and develop diagnostic radiographs, review patient health history, and complete software entries under direction. Manage daily schedules to set up trays and ensure HIPAA compliance. Requires Dental Assisting certification, radiography certification, and CPR. Pay rate is $25.00-27.00 per hour for a 2 or 3 days per week schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
- Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
- CPR Certification required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient
Desired Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
