Job Summary
Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists by charting, managing operatory set-up and clean-up, and educating patients. Assist with restorative dentistry procedures, including preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, setting trays, and maintaining asepsis per OSHA guidelines. Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs while reviewing daily schedules to organize trays and instruments. Record and review patient health history, make chart entries, and complete forms and signatures in dental software under doctor's direction. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CPR, and X-ray certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
- Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
- CPR Certification required
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient
Desired Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
